Puck levels and availability
What Do The Different "Levels" Mean?
- Common — A flat-printed puck featuring a clean, straightforward design—often highlighting a player’s name and number. Produced in higher quantities and typically easier to find. In most cases, Common pucks availability is 1 of 250
- Uncommon — Features a textured print and a more detailed or graphic-driven design, often incorporating a player photo. Less widely available than Common pucks. In most cases, Uncommon pucks availability is 1 of 125
- Rare — An enhanced version of the Uncommon design, printed on a reflective chrome-finish for an added visual impact. In most cases, Rare pucks availability is 1 of 50
- Epic — Features a premium silver medallion design, typically incorporating a player photo and dimensional detailing. In most cases, Epic pucks availability is 1 of 25.
- Legends — The ultimate chase puck. Features a premium gold medallion or another exclusive design and is produced in extremely limited quantities. Can include a Game-Used Stick, Net or Jersey. Exclusive jewel-encrusted medallions. In most cases, Legends pucks availability is 1 of 5 or 1 of 1.
Production quantities vary by collection; refer to each puck’s listing for its specific limit.

What does “limited quantity” mean?
A limited quantity indicates the number of that puck believed to have been produced. It does not necessarily represent how many are currently available for purchase.
Why does the number of collectors sometimes exceed the listed production quantity?
Collector quantities are self-reported. Mistakes, duplicate entries or incorrect identification can occasionally cause the reported number owned to exceed the stated production quantity.
Does a higher level always mean a puck is more valuable?
Not necessarily. A puck’s value may depend on demand, condition, player popularity, production quantity and other factors. Mystery Pucks does not provide official valuations.
Are all pucks individually numbered?
No. Some designs may have a limited production quantity without each individual puck being serial-numbered.
Collecting and tracking
Do I need an account to browse the collections?
No. Anyone can browse the available series, collections and pucks. You only need an account if you want to track your personal collection.
How do I add a puck to my collection?
Log in, locate the puck you own and select Add to My Collection. The puck will then appear in your collector dashboard.
What if I own more than one copy of a puck?
You can increase the quantity in your collection to record multiple copies of the same puck.
Can I remove a puck from my collection?
Yes. You can decrease its quantity or remove it entirely from your collection.
What does the collection progress bar show?
The progress bar compares the number of unique pucks you have collected with the total number currently listed in that collection. Duplicate copies do not increase your completion percentage.
Collections and site information
What is the difference between a series and a collection?
A series groups related releases together, while a collection contains the individual pucks associated with a particular team, theme or release.
Why can’t I find a puck or collection?
The database is continually being expanded. A puck may not have been added yet, or some information may still be awaiting confirmation.
What should I do if I find incorrect or missing information?

Is Mystery Pucks a marketplace?

Your dashboard and tracked collection are associated with your account. If public profiles or sharing features are introduced later, the available privacy controls will be clearly explained.
